St. Mary's Transit System (STS) provides public transportation services within St. Mary's County, connecting with Charles County's VanGO in Charlotte Hall, and Calvert County's Transit System in Solomon's Island, serving many destinations including employment locations, medical facilities, and shopping centers throughout the county. STS provides a disability discounted fare, a discounted fare for Senior Citizens, and paratransit services to persons with disabilities who are qualified. Bike racks are available on some STS buses, and bikes are permitted in any available mobility device space.
