HCW Creative Designs is owned and operated by the Williams family. The man behind the sock designs, is 16-year-old, business entrepreneur, Hayden. While parents Lynn and Mark, oversee most of the administrative aspects for now. Due to Hayden's age, the business name is listed under Lynn Williams.
Growing up, Hayden and his dad had a passion for unique socks, purchasing them as gifts for one another during the holidays. During the pandemic, Hayden started researching how to become an entrepreneur, combining his passion of socks and desire to be an entrepreneur and started designing socks. We created the business name, opened a store in Etsy last year, and then a sock stand in SOF Market in Leonardtown November 2023. In December 2022, we became a licensed business, HCW Creative Designs.
We offer unique socks and tote bags, as well as custom orders!

Historic Sotterley, a National Historic Landmark, has a history dating back to the turn of the 18th century and is one of the oldest museums of its kind in the United States. Many people have called Sotterley home over its 300 year history. Some came to prosper; others worked the land, either for wages or under bondage. Sotterley today consists of almost 100 acres of breathtaking beauty on the Patuxent River that includes over six miles of nature trails, Colonial Revival Gardens, and over 20 historic buildings. The Plantation House had its beginnings in 1703 and has undergone many changes and additions over time. Sotterley's only surviving original Slave Cabin illustrates the life conditions of many St. Mary's County people from the mid-1800's into the 20th century. Our you-pull-it junkyard has hundreds of vehicles in stock, ensuring we are able to provide our customers with quality used auto parts. We also pay customers for scrap metal over our scale, and will pick up unwanted vehicles for cash.
