Greenwell Foundation is seeking a part-time bookkeeper
to process accounts payable and payroll.
We are a non-profit that operates in Hollywood, MD on
the beautiful Greenwell State Park situated on the Patuxent River. Our mission
is to provide educational, therapeutic, and recreational programs for people
with and without disabilities in a natural environment at Greenwell State Park.
We are a small staff with flexible hours making it
easy to work around home and school schedules.
Greenwell Foundation is looking for an individual that
is skilled in QuickBooks Desktop, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite
(especially Excel). Previous experience or training with payroll is required,
along with a working understanding of double-entry accounting.
Responsibilities and Duties

Accurately
review, pay and record accounts payable

Review and report
employee hours to management for approval

Process payroll
biweekly
=
Provide financial
reports to management and program staff as requested
=
File vendor
invoices and payments with attention to detail
=
Assist in the
annual audit
=
Review vendor
invoices for accuracy and contact vendors if needed
=
Project expense
estimates for budget and monthly planning
=
Assist in month
closing and reporting
=
Deposit cash
funds at bank
=
Assist with
occasional planned special events on weekends or after hours
Other duties as assigned
15-20 hours per week
