20th Potomac Jazz & Seafood Festival

Enjoy nationally-known jazz artists, Southern Maryland seafood and stunning waterside views with a variety of activities for jazz enthusiasts. To celebrate our 20th year, we’re adding a special Friday concert celebration and Sunday jazz brunches and activities in downtown Historic Leonardtown in addition to the Saturday festival at beautiful St. Clement's Island Museum along the scenic Potomac River.

Friday, July 12, 2019 - JAZZ ERA PARTY/CONCERT ON THE SQUARE Leonardtown, MD | 6PM - 9PM

The FREE Jazz Era Party/Concert on the Square will be a celebration of jazz throughout the 20's (jazz age), the 30's-40s (swing era), and the 50's-90's (modern and Latin jazz) featuring the Chesapeake Swingband with a special performance from Ballet Caliente.

Join us for this very special evening celebrating the influence of jazz through the ages at the official Kick-off Party for the Potomac Jazz & Seafood Festival Weekend Celebration. Come in your choice of period costume from the 20's, 30's, 40's or 50's. There will be raffles and prizes awarded for costume.

The celebration continues with jazz-themed after parties at the following restaurants in Historic Leonardtown: The Rex, Social Coffeehouse, and Olde Town Pub.

Relax waterside on the museum lawn and enjoy live national jazz artists, lots of delicious seafood and gorgeous views of the Potomac and St. Clement’s Island at this popular signature event. Sunday, July 14, 2019 - A JAZZIN’ SUNDAY IN TOWN
Leonardtown, MD | ALL DAY
The weekend ends on a high “note” on Sunday when the Town of Leonardtown once again will host various jazz-themed activities, including jazz brunches at participating town restaurants, a jazz dance class, a cocktail party and movie screening at a local coffeehouse and speakeasy, and more. NO TICKETS NEEDED.
